JARETT JONES AND ETHAN AHRENS
GROUP PRESENTATION RESPONSE
Our topic is Newton’s laws of forces and motion. We are going to make a Pen-Cast for the students to watch the night before our presentation. This pen-cast is going to contain some brief information on who Sir Isaac Newton was, and briefly what the laws of forces and motion mean. This info will help them to understand what we are talking about in our presentation. There will be 10 True or false questions on the sheet for the students to answer 3-4 of the questions will be on Sir Isaac Newton and 6-7 will be on what the 3 formulas are and what they are about/ their meaning. This is going to be required for the students to do the night before the presentation.

For our introduction we are going to make an animoto. The animoto will be only about 30 seconds long and it will show/tell a little more information on Sir Isaac Newton. It will also have the three formulas that Sir Isaac Newton came up with. It will have a little explanation of each formula, but we will show the formulas and explain them more in depth later on in the main presentation. This will just help the students to understand the formulas a little more before we go more in depth with them.

For are main presentation we are going to be making four different things: power point, poster, video, and animoto. For the power point it will be kind of short, and it will talk about Sir Isaac Newton a little more and about how he came up with the three different formulas. On the poster we are going to have the three different formulas. We will talk about each formula in depth and we will give an example of the formulas in the real world. For the video we are going to show Jarett hitting a hockey puck or Ethan hitting a golf ball and some other aids that will help to show how the formulas work a little better. To wrap up our presentation we are going to make one more animoto. This animoto will just recap everything that we have talked about. Also it will thank the audience for coming and watching our presentation.
